James Harden trade shakes up NBA Twitter: ‘Sheesh!’

Wizards star Bradley Beal tweeted: “WOW.”

Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell echoed Beal, simply writing “WHOA,” with a laughing emoji, and Lakers forward Jared Dudley tweeted: “Sheesh!!!!!!!

The reactions were flying on social media after a three-team blockbuster deal landed All-Star guard James Harden in Brooklyn to form an explosive big three with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, whenever he returns from his personal leave of absence.

ESPN personality Mina Kimes posted a gif of a chef putting french fries in an exploding plot and wrote: “Brooklyn adding Harden to the Nets locker room.”

Television writer Eric Stangel joked: “Even I got 2 first round picks from Brooklyn in the Harden deal.”

Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum: tweeted: “Right before my nap huh . Most entertaining sport in the business.”

McCollum’s Portland teammate Damian Lillard weighed in, as well: “That’s a lot of firepower in Brooklyn.”

The reactions were mostly of surprise, to the Nets giving up three first-round picks, along with quality young players Jarrett Allen and Caris LeVert, and veteran Taurean Prince.

Ball is Life tweeted a video of two shirtless men fighting over a tire along with the caption: “Harden and Kyrie deciding who gonna bring the ball up the court.”
