On-Feet Look at the Wasted Youth x Nike SB Dunk Low

Original Story (12/23/20): In early 2019, Japanese designer Verdy collaborated with Nike SB on the Girls Don’t Cry Dunk Low, a highly coveted pair that currently fetches thousands in the resale market. The rising streetwear phenom is now reuniting with Nike SB on another Dunk Low, this time with Wasted Youth, Verdy’s skate/punk-based label.

The Wasted Youth Nike SB Dunk Low features a punk aesthetic, constructed with black denim and leather with patchwork-like elements. Red stitching is found on the the back of the shoe, with the words “Wasted” and “Youth” on the heel panels along with a silver buckle. The Swoosh on the medial side is partially covered with a rose flower. On the insoles, we see the message “Don’t bother me anymore” on the heel and “No Thank You I Don’t Need Your Support” across the midfoot.

Grab a first look at the Wasted Youth x Nike SB Dunk Low below. Since the Girls Don’t Cry version was highly limited and exclusive to Japan, it’s likely that these will suffer the same fate, though no actual release details have surfaced thus far. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates as more info becomes available.
